TAMWORTH — An alleged check forgery scheme is under investigation by the New Hampshire State Police after the owner of White Lake Speedway in Tamworth reported that a forger created and cashed a fraudulent check for $20,000 using his account number. White Lake Speedway offers go-karts, mini golf and laser tag, among other activities.
Robert Tupper told the Sun last Tuesday he had to transfer in $20,000 from a different bank to cover the hit to his account.
