Sun Publisher Mark Guerringue used the scientific method to come up with the Top 10 news stories of 2025. First he asked the Sun editorial staff for their list of top stories. Then he counted how many stories received first place, second place, etc. If there were no clear winners in terms of hierarchy, he added up how many votes each of the remaining stories got.
