BERLIN — U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.) talked about skyrocketing prescription drug costs while touring Coos County Family Health Services and discussed skilled job training at White Mountains Community College during a visit to the North Country on Tuesday.
The focus of her visit to Coos County Family Health Service, a non-profit community-based health organization, was on the skyrocketing price of prescription drugs and the struggle to assist patients who simply cannot afford the cost of medication they need.
