HART’S LOCATION — Citing the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on his innkeeping business, six-term Democratic state Rep. Ed Butler of Hart’s Location said Monday he will not seek another term.

Butler represents “floterial” Carroll County District 7, which covers the nine northern towns of Freedom, Madison, Tamworth, Albany, Conway, Hale’s Location, Bartlett, Chatham and Jackson, plus unincorporated Hart’s Location.
