CONWAY — The Conway School Board has a new chair, but members won't elect a vice chair for at least two more weeks.

Megan Beckwith, who served as acting chair after Joe Mosca, who held the position, abruptly resigned on Sept. 21, was unanimously elected as the chair on Monday night at the meeting, held in the Loynd Auditorium at Kennett High School. Mosca, who was re-elected to a three-year seat in April, told the Sun he and his wife want to move to Tennessee. He served on the board for 7½ years, spanning two separate stints.
