CONWAY — Are you old enough to remember the Volvo Volley (vodka, grapefruit juice and grenadine)?
How about when professional tennis players gathered in front of the North Conway train station to play a yearly Wednesday night softball game in Schouler Park or soccer game in Bartlett?
Or when crisscrossed wooden tennis rackets were strung from geranium boxes on streetlights in North Conway Village?

For those of us who were here back when, the last week in July and the first week in August all these years later still means one thing: Volvo Week.
