CONWAY — About 60 people attended a kick-off reception at Zip's Pub at Cranmore Mountain Resort on Monday to launch a $2.3 million capital campaign for the proposed Conway Recreation Path.
Monday's meeting was hosted by capital campaign chairs Sharon and Ted Wroblewski of Kearsarge, with assistance from Chris Meier of Conway, head of the Mount Washington Valley Trails Association and an attorney with Cooper Cargill Chant of North Conway, and Larry Garland of Jackson, chair of the MWV Rec Path Committee and a cartographer for the Appalachian Mountain Club.
