CONWAY — As deadlines for the town rental program loom, two landlords from local mobile home parks sought relief from the town, and the deputy town manager said they could get special rates on the fees associated with the program, selectmen willing.

Until Jan. 26, landlords of one- and two-unit buildings may apply for a self-affidavit attesting that their units would pass a 10-point safety inspection. The affidavit would license a unit for one year. Landlords may also opt to pay $375 for an inspection done by town and fire department staff.
