CONWAY — On a chilly day with snow flurries and a steady northwest wind blowing down off the summit of Mount Washington across North Conway Village’s Schouler Park, Veterans Day was observed with dignity and solemnity on Tuesday.
The event drew a weather-hardy crowd of about 200 people, including veterans of all ages, citizens and members of the Kennett High Marching Band.
