CONWAY — Restaurants in the Mount Washington Valley responded rapidly to Gov. Chris Sununu’s executive order to “transition restaurants and bars to mandatory offsite eating effective at close of business” Monday night.

Sununu said the order would be enforced until April 7, “at which time the situation will be reassessed.” According to Emergency Order No. 2 Pursuant to Executive Order 2020-04: “Temporary prohibition on scheduled gatherings of 50 or more attendees and onsite food and beverage consumption is in response to slow down the spread of COVID-19.”
