This chart shows how individual members of the Carroll County legislative delegation voted on various bills on April 23. (TERRY LEAVITT GRAPHIC)

By Steve Woodcock, Special to The Conway Daily Sun

This week’s session dealt almost entirely with bills that came over from the Senate. If a bill came through a committee with unanimous bipartisan support and had a financial note (FN), meaning a cost implication, the bill had to be voted upon individually and could not be grouped in the Consent Calendar. These FN bills will have far-reaching effects on New Hampshire’s Medicare and Medicaid, solar power, housing, toll roads, civil rights, education, crypto scams and veterans.
