FRYEBURG, Maine — Thanks to a $26.6 million federal grant received by the Maine Department of Transportation, the towns of Fryeburg, Kingfield and Woodstock will benefit from an $11 million chunk of change for future infrastructure improvements.

According to a statement issued by the office of U.S. Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), the BUILD (Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development) grants aim to “create jobs, reduce traffic congestion and increase safety."
