OSSIPEE — Christina Fay's animal cruelty trial, in which the Wolfeboro woman is accused of mistreating dozens of Great Danes in her care, has been scheduled to resume in two weeks.
Meanwhile, Circuit Judge Charles Greenhalgh has denied her defense team's latest motions, one to dismiss the charges against her, and one to try to suppress a search warrant that allowed police to raid her home.
Given this evidence, it is unlikely that either Battenfelder or Maycomber (sic) would provide testimony that is more exculpatory than Moffitt's. Accordingly, the Defendant's motion to dismiss is denied." so "too much evidence" to be denied to the defendant? is this America?
Only an organization like HSUS could have provided this assistance." says the judge .. without prejudice"? surely you jest there are many organizations that could have helped.. local rescues and Great Dane rescues in particular. People who actually know how to care for the dogs without killing them. The judge either is in the pocket of the HSUS or is ignorant of the many organizations that could have helped without smearing the reputation of the owner and raising MILLIONS of dollars that will never be used to care for these dogs. The HSUS has NO shelters and depends upon others while they collect the cash and glory
