MADISON — Voters here elevated newcomer Joy Gray over Madison Board of Selectmen incumbent Michael Mauro on Tuesday. In addition, a warrant article petitioned by Gray to expand the board next year from three to five members also passed. Madison joined other non-SB 2 Carroll County towns to go to the polls on town meeting day.

In Madison, Gray won a three-way race for a three-year term on the board, decisively defeating Mauro. Gray received 297 votes, while Mauro garnered 126. Meanwhile, Rick Judkins, who had suspended his campaign too late to get off the ballot, got 18.
