LANCASTER — A Berlin man has been indicted on a charge of negligent homicide, alleging he was speeding when his car struck another vehicle head-on, killing the driver.

On Nov. 2, 2024, Mark Taillon, 52, of Berlin was driving a Chevrolet Cruze north on Route 16 in Pinkham Notch when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck a Chevrolet Suburban traveling south. The driver of the Suburban, Donald Canty, 77, of Jackson was declared dead at the scene.
