OSSIPEE — On Monday, Carroll County Attorney Michaela Andruzzi warned the county delegation that her staff is being crushed by an outsize workload and that her office has been shorthanded for a month largely because she isn't able to pay a competitive wages for attorneys.

The delegation is a group of 15 state representatives who pass county budgets managed by county commissioners with help from administration and department heads.
