CONWAY — Unlike other landfills across the state, “toxic trash juice” isn’t an issue yet at Conway’s landfill. However, the town has vowed to do a better job meeting in its reporting obligations to state, Conway Public Works Director Andrew Smith told the Sun.
Last Friday, a New Hampshire Bulletin story “Toxic ‘trash juice’ a problem at four New Hampshire landfills, state regulators say” said New Hampshire Environmental Services issued a letter of deficiency to Conway in January based on deficiencies identified in August and October of 2022.
