CONWAY — A former Conway man was sentenced to prison Wednesday for providing fentanyl to one of his best friends, who later died.  

Originally, Conway police charged Robert Maguire, 36, with special felony controlled drug sale resulting in death following the overdose of Stacy Cook, 36, on Feb. 18, 2024. The charge "Drug Sale with Death Resulting" carries a possible life term in prison.
