CONCORD — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation says bridge replacement work began on the Bearcamp River Bridge on Route 16 in Ossipee on Monday with traffic reduced to one lane.

This work will require Route 16 at the Bearcamp River Bridge, which is located just north of Norman Drew Road, to be reduced to one lane of alternating two-way traffic. This will be accomplished using concrete barrier, temporary striping and construction warning signs.
