CONWAY — A count of homeless people in Carroll, Coos and Grafton Counties will be conducted between Wednesday and Thursday. The housing insecure are asked to make themselves known by checking-in with one of three social service agencies.

Tri-County CAP and its partners work to create as many points of contact as they can in reaching the unhousedd. The agencies are counting anyone who spends the night of Jan. 22 to 23 outside, in a vehicle or other place without heat and running water, or in a hotel paid for by a town or other entity.
