CONWAY — It's been a winter to be weathered across New England, at least since late January.

The ski country of Mount Washington Valley has celebrated the epic white fluff of the past month, especially during this first of two February vacation weeks, while snow-weary southern New Englanders have persevered, with Boston recording its second-highest seasonal snowfall since the start of record-keeping in 1882.
