CONWAY – A canopy tent that Ralph W. Shirley American Legion Post 46 uses for summer time events was destroyed in a strong storm Wednesday afternoon and the post is seeking donations for a new one.

The Legion would appreciate any manpower, supplies or monetary donations that can be made available, said Legion Auxiliary President Mary Bolduc. She said the tent allows the organization to host outdoor fundraisers and events. She said the poles snapped and beyond the point of repair.
