FRYEBURG — Saying that it's time for a change in leadership and that the historic school "will prosper with a new voice of leadership, fresh ideas, and renewed energy," Fryeburg Academy headmaster Dan Lee Jr. announced over the weekend that he will retire at the end of the 2013 school year.

In a bulk mailing that went out to the alumni and families of current students on Saturday, Lee shared his retirement announcement. The four-page letter features a front page that displays the academy's logo and across the bottom states "An Important Message."
