Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair is nearly here, and as we await the arrival of Disney’s revival run of Malcolm in the Middle, we can’t help but reflect on how the original series ended.

Airing from 2000 to 2006 on Fox, Malcolm in the Middle was a family sitcom that aired for seven seasons before concluding on May 14, 2006, wrapping a 151-episode run. The show chronicled the day-to-day life of Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) and his working-class family as they dealt with various trials and tribulations. The catch is that Malcolm is a child prodigy, which gives him a unique perspective on his family, including his parents, Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) and Hal (Bryan Cranston), as well as his brothers, Reece (Justin Berfield), Dewey (Erik Per Sullivan), and Francis (Christopher Masterson).
