Again this year The Water Village Community Church will host the Hymn Sing for Ossipee Old Home Week. It will be held on June 30 at 7 p.m. at the church, which is on Route 171 facing Pork Hill Road. The church is delighted to have Doris Packard as the pianist who will lead the singing. Mrs. Packard is a former Wolfeboro resident and having been the wife of a long-time Water Village minister, she is loved by its members. She and her husband Paul live in Lincolnville, Maine, but Doris is always ready to join the programs at The Water Village Community Church. Those who have heard her at other hymn sings know how much enthusiasm and grace she brings. Plan to attend the Hymn Sing and join in the singing, or just listen, as favorite hymns are chosen by the congegation.
