CELEBRATING THIS VALLEY’S SKIING HERITAGE, friendship and holiday cheer, a bevy of local ski luminaries and ski history enthusiasts turned out for a holiday gathering hosted by the New England Ski Museum at its Eastern Slope Branch in North Conway on Wednesday evening.

According to Eastern Slope Branch manager Brian Fowler, just shy of 200 people attended the three-hour open house, which featured appetizers furnished by chef Cheryl Emerson and staff of the nearby North Conway Country Club.
