Representatives from Emery & Garrett Groundwater Investigations are scheduled to be at the Jan. 10 Fryeburg Selectmen’s meeting to present the results of its report on the Recalibration and Application of the Numerical Model of the Wards Brook Aquifer. The meeting will take place at the American Legion at 6 p.m. The meeting was previously scheduled for Nov. 29 but was postponed.
With winter weather continuing to bear down on us, the Town of Fryeburg website wants to remind residents that they will be allowed up to two 5-gallon buckets of salt/sand per winter storm for residential use. Sand is not for commercial use and no commercial vehicles are allowed. Video surveillance is in use on the premises to aid in the prosecution of crimes; including theft of salt/sand from the Town of Fryeburg.
