The Age Friendly Community Task Force of the Town of Fryeburg is proud to offer sand buckets for seniors. For Fryeburg residents who are 65 or older or who are physically unable to retrieve sand or salt, sand buckets are filled and delivered to your residence within a week of your request or before a storm.

Place the empty bucket in a place where it can be easily picked up to be reused. At the end of the season, buckets will be picked up for reuse next season. To apply, please go to the Fryeburg Public Library website and fill out the application. This will be a huge help to folks over 65 or anyone who is unable to lift a bucket of sand because of a disability. Please pass this information on to your friends and neighbors!
