BARTLETT  — Friday's April Fool's snowstorm created great snow conditions at all New Hampshire ski areas and touring centers — some of which are actually still open at this late point in the season, allowing them to offer mid-season conditions for skiing and riding.

“It looks to me as though the 'Bartlett Snowbelt' is paying off,” said Bear Notch Ski Touring and Snowshoe Center's Doug Garland Friday afternoon, as the snow was still falling fast. “We have 5 inches at this point. I think it's going to make for a great weekend.”
