Richard Pierce Potter, 73, son of the late Gladys (Pierce) Potter and Jonathan H. Potter Sr. of Westport, Mass., passed peacefully on Feb. 19, 2016.
Richard attended Westport High School and afterwards lived for several years in the Washington D.C. area. While there, he worked as a motorcycle courier for the White House, a taxi driver, as a guard for a women's college and as a maintenance man at the famous Watergate. He enjoyed traveling to Alaska and Las Vegas. Richard always loved going fast in life, whether it was on his motorcycle or in the 1957 Chevy. He loved music, especially anything related to Elvis.
