CONWAY — The season of giving kicks off the North Conway Public Library’s capital campaign with three board members stepping up to claim the naming rights to sections of the soon to be renovated village institution.

The North Conway Public Library board of directors announced last summer the generous financial gift of patron Lyman Pope to renovate and enlarge the well-loved public icon. Built in 1911, and enlarged in 1917 and 1988, the popularity of the library as a valley resource now requires that it be updated in size, function and technology.
