It’s almost time for the annual summer book sale at the Conway Public Library. This is always sponsored by the Friends of the Conway Public Library, who are working hard to collect donations and organize books, games, DVDs and music. If you are cleaning out your shelves and would like to donate to this library fundraising event, bring your gently used items to the library during regular hours up through July 25 to make it into the sale happening Friday, July 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, July 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Items should be clean, and in good condition. The library can not accept textbooks, VHS or cassette tapes, old magazines, or reference books.

We are frequently adding programs with teens in mind at the library. Temporary henna tattoo art instruction by Jenny Waterhouse is being offered to teens and young adults on Friday, July 13, at 2 p.m. in the Ham Room. Learn this ancient art and receive a take-home kit for extended practice. What a great way to wear and show off your art.
