Virginia Haney Moody

Virginia “Ginny” Haney Moody grew up in Water Village, Ossipee, N.H., the daughter of Hazel and Ralph Haney. Her education started in a one-room schoolhouse, though she later attended Ossipee High School and graduated from MacIntosh College in Dover, N.H.

She met Roger Moody, and they married in 1953, staying together for 64 years until Roger passed in 2017. They had two children, Blair and Dawn, and moved to Wolfeboro, N.H., in 1957. She remained in Wolfeboro until she passed at home on May 6.
