Valentina Konovalova

Valentina Ivanovna Konovalova passed away peacefully on Oct. 29, 2026, at Mineral Springs in North Conway, N,H,, after several years of declining health brought on by dementia.

Valentina was born on Dec. 24, 1935, in Sokol, Russia. She was the youngest of four children born to Ivan and Lidiya Konovalova. Her father, Ivan, was killed in action during World War II when she was just 7 years old, and for a long time, her mother, Lidiya, was the only provider for the family, working as a skillful seamstress.
