Robert Lloyd Smith Sr.

Robert Lloyd Smith Sr. (Bob), age 79, passed away peacefully in his home in Silver Lake, N.H., on Dec. 25, 2025, surrounded by his family. Bob was born in North Conway, N.H., on Aug. 23, 1946, to his parents Lloyd and Rosella (Botting) Smith.

Bob was a graduate of Kennett High School and then served in the Army and was a Vietnam veteran. Bob then started his career in carpentry and painting. He helped build the Wentworth Resort. Bob worked at Chick's sawmill and then the Madison Transfer Station. Bob loved fishing, woodworking and working on lawn tractors.
