Julia Joan Blake, 89, died on March 23, 2026. Born July 24, 1936, in Fryeburg, Maine, Julia later lived in Minot, Maine. Independent, hard-working and resilient to the core, Julia had a way of meeting life head-on — usually with busy hands, a practical plan and something warm to offer anyone who walked through the door. From the start, she did things her own way, and she did them well; that was simply Julia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 6-8 p.m. at the Fortin & Pinette Group, 217 Turner St. Auburn, Maine. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with committal prayers following at Gracelawn Memorial Park, Auburn, Maine.
