It is with great sadness that the family of Gail Ann McClure (nee Briggs), 73, announces her passing on Sept. 29, 2017, following sudden illness.

Gail was born April 24, 1944, in Erie, Pa. She attended elementary and junior high school in nearby Girard, Pa. She moved to Jackson, Mich., where she completed high school. Gail graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in education. She lived in Kalamazoo, Mich., from 1971 to 1980 and taught third grade in the Coloma School District.
