Edgar Forrest Allen Jr. of Holiday, Fla., formerly of Conway and Madison, N.H., passed away peacefully in his home in the company of his loving wife, Kathleen Gavin Allen. He was 74 years old and had lived a full and loving life.

Edgar was born in Gloucester, Mass., in 1951 to the late Edgar Forrest Allen, Sr. and Florence Frost Allen. He graduated from NH Vocational Technical College in 1971 with a degree in mechanical engineering and joined the Air Force in the height of the Vietnam conflict. Returning to the Conway area in 1975, Edgar joined the Air National Guard and worked for Carroll Industries and Thorne Survey, taking personal pride in every project.
