Bernard Charles Edwards

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Bernard Charles Edwards, Sr., 84, of Moultonborough, N.H., on April 15, 2026. Known to many as “Bern,” he was a companion, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

Bernard was born and raised in Effingham, N.H., to the late John and Helen (Stevens) Edwards. He was employed at Coleman’s in Conway, N.H., at Ossipee Aggregates in Ossipee, N.H., and then owned and ran the daily operations of a logging business out of Effingham. His son Bernie worked alongside him for several years. He was known for his dedication, dependability, mechanical knowledge and strong work ethic.
