Mount Washington Valley Arts Association member Lucy Thompson Merrows art is on display across the Mount Washington Valley. Lucy Merrow is a well known artist in the Ossipee area. Currently, Merrows art is featured at the Laconia Savings Bank in Center Ossipee and also at the Law Offices of Helme, Cole & Smith in Ossipee.Merrow is an alumnus of University of New Hampshire where she majored in zoology and during that time was able to take art classes with artist John Hatch. She has taken many adult art education classes over the years and has continued adding to her knowledge of oil painting.The paintings on display at the local business are for sale. Those wishing to purchase artwork or to have a favorite scene commissioned by Merrow may contact her at 539-2109 or at ltmerrow@verizon.net.
