The #Metoo movement, though a decades-old movement driven by victims who have been silenced far too long caught fire this year, bringing increased attention to the pervasiveness of sexual assault and abuse in our society.

It’s  an indicator that we are moving in the right direction by providing a safe space for victims to come forward and tell their stories.
