LEBANON — Tom Manion, MPA, the current president and chief executive officer of New London Hospital, has been named chief operating officer of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. New London Hospital and Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center are both members of Dartmouth Health.
As chief operating officer, Manion will oversee the administrative and operational leadership of Dartmouth Hitchcock’s acute care services, ambulatory and outpatient practices, ancillary services, research and Graduate Medical Education. In his role as chief operating officer, Manion will work to enhance operational processes and to establish procedures that can most effectively support the organization’s priorities along with assuring that care delivery is high-quality and safe. Additionally, Manion will focus on growing and optimizing patient access, and continuing to maintain Dartmouth Hitchcock’s financial stability.
