TAMWORTH — Award-winning speaker, author of several best-selling books and garden designer, Kerry Ann Mendez will be giving a presentation on Oct. 21 at 10:30 a.m. at The Preserve at Chocorua as part of the Mountain Garden Club’s “Lunch & Learn” program series. Her talk is entitled, “Mighty Mite Shrubs that Outshine Perennials.”

Mendez, who specializes in low-maintenance gardening and landscape design, has been a featured speaker at many garden and flower shows, symposia and conferences, including Master Gardeners conferences in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Indiana, Ohio, Wisconsin, Virginia, New Jersey, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Michigan, and Vancouver, British Columbia.
