CONWAY — The Gibson Center for Senior Services has been awarded a $7,000 grant from the Goldberg Foundation for the purpose of purchasing a new convection oven in support of Meals on Wheels and Congregate lunch dining. With the current oven being 25 years old and showing its age, a new oven was necessary.

This year, the Gibson Center served and delivered 47,000 meals through its Meals on Wheels and congregate lunch dining services. To accomplish such a feat requires a dedicated and talented staff, access to delicious raw food that is turned into meals, and the right equipment to manage the volume of the task at hand.
