Friends of Penny Lusky will be holding a benefit supper and silent auction on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 5 to 7 p.m. to raise money to defray the cost of traveling to Scarborough for radiation treatments. Penny's cancer journey began in 2010 when she was diagnosed with lung cancer. Since then she has had half of one of her lungs and three ribs removed only to be diagnosed with a brain tumor, which has also been removed. For more information or to make a donation please contact Amy Rogers at (207) 557-3382 or Robin Jensen at (207) 256-0594. The supper will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. The menu includes spaghetti, salad, rolls, dessert and a beverage. A donation of $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12 is requested.
