Mrs. Eva (Lauzon) Kirvan, age 93, died at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2005, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late John R. Nona Kirvan. Born in Lynn. Mass., she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Arthemise (Guay) Lauzon. Having lived in Lynn most of her life, she spent the last three years in Tamworth with her daughter, and the last several months as a resident of Community Living for the Elderly of New Hampshire in Tamworth.She was a treasured mother and homemaker, and briefly worked in the Lynn School cafeteria system. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish for many years, where she was a member of the Ladys Sodality, and later a member of Holy Family Parish in Lynn, where she also belonged to the Ladys Sodality. Mrs. Kirvin enjoyed sewing and cooking.Mrs. Kirvin leaves three daughters, Mrs. Christine M. Boverini, wife of former state Sen. Walter J. Boverini of Lynn; Mrs. Jacqueline Whyte, wife of Peter Whyte of Tamworth; and Kathleen M. Kostan, wife of Lynn School Superintendent Nicholas P. Kostan; two sons, Peter T. Kirvan of Palm Coast, Fla., and John D. Kirvan of Port Orange, Fla.; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves her sisters, Constance Craig of Maryland and Rev. Sister Gertrude Lauzon of Newburgh. She was the sister of the late Gilbert, Paul, Alfred, Raymond and Leonard Lauzon, and Claire Starkey, Lillian Asselin and Regina Dane.Her funeral will be held from the Solimine, Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Route 129), Lynn, on Monday at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, Lynn, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.
