The hilarious Rob Steen, a crowd-pleasing comedian whose frenetic energy has been compared to that of Robin Williams, will host the November 27 Comedy Hypnotist Night at The Town & Country Motor Inn, Gorham.

An 23-year comedy veteran, Steen's television credits include appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, MTV, Comedy Central, ABC's America's Funniest People and America's Funniest Home Videos, and Fox TV's World's Funniest Videos. Performing an average of 350 shows per year, Steen is one of the busiest comedians in the country, working around the Northeastern United States and Canada. Bouncing around the state and interacting with comedy audiences, he displays influences from his early roots in show business, as a 12-year-old street performer in Boston's Quincy Market. In his early standup days, he would incorporate his juggling, balancing and other skills into his comedy act. Proud of his busy schedule, Steen notes that he has performed on fundraisers and benefits that have raised more than $3.5 million for various causes during his career.
