The Third Annual Bluegrass Gospel Sing and Jam is coming to Conway this Wednesday, July 25, at Pequawket Park in Conway Villagethats the gazebo next to the Conway fire station.Mike and Mary Robinson will be leading the jam and sing-along from 5:30 p.m. till dark.The Robinsons travel the East Coast of the United States from Yeehaw Junction, Fla., to Blue Hill, Maine, leading gospel jams and sing-alongs at bluegrass festivals. Like many other bluegrass musicians, the Robinsons are in town for the Ossipee Valley Bluegrass Festival in Cornish, Maine. This is the third time they have come to Conway.Bluegrass music is a style of country music from the southern United States, usually played on fiddle, banjo, guitar or mandolin, featuring close harmony and instrumental solos. Bring your instrument or just come to sing along.White Mountain Chapel has sponsored this event and will provide free refreshments.
