The March 21 selectmen’s meeting, being the first meeting after town meeting, began with the election of officers of the board. Rick Hiland was re-elected as chair of the select board and Joe Ferris was elected vice-chair.

Greg DiSanto and Alex Belanz from North Country Council were in attendance at the meeting. Greg is on the transportation committee, and Alex the environmental planning committee. Together with the selectmen, they discussed how the council could help Albany with funding for various projects — i.e. Pasaconaway Road repair and getting funding from the FLAT program.
