The Rob Roy Motor Lodge on Route 25 in Moultonboro has been purchased by Mark and Su Movesian, of Wakefield, Mass.Stewart Lamprey and Ivor Thomas, brokers, of New Hampshire Business Sales Inc., represented the seller, Pam Ayers, in the transaction. Financing was arranged by Laconia Savings Bank.The lodging facility has been in operation for 25 years under different names. It will now be called Berry Pond Motel.Reopening is scheduled for January 2003, with improvements ongoing into spring. Reservations are now being taken at (603) 476-5571 or www.berrypondmotel.com.
